As considered in the 2024 indicative financing programme published in December 2023, Agence France Tresor announces the creation of a new 25-year green nominal OAT, the OAT 25 June 2049. This new bond, whose details will be announced later on, will be issued by syndication in the following days, depending on market conditions.
The joint lead managers will be BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Crédit Agricole CIB, J.P. Morgan and Société Générale. All primary dealers (SVT) will be part of the syndicate.
This new bond will be reopened afterwards, according to market demand and in order to ensure its liquidity. In addition, AFT will continue to tap its three other green bonds, whose outstanding amount currently stands at €61.9 billion, in response to investor demand. These issuances will be within the limit of the amount of Green Eligible Expenditures which reaches €15 billion for 2024 as specified on January 11 of this year.
