As mentioned in the 2021 State financing programme published in December 2020, a securities reserve mechanism* can be created, to be managed by the Caisse de la dette publique (CDP).To test this mechanism operationally, the State will provide CDP with an amount of €400 million of securities on 8 December 2021.
The securities created are as follows:
- OAT 0.50% 25/05/2025 for 100 million euros;
- OAT 0.00% 25/02/2026 for 100 million euros;
- OAT 0.50% 25/05/2026 for 100 million euros;
- OAT 0.25% 25/11/2026 for 100 million euros.
Those securities will be canceled on 23 December 2021.
